DESCRIPTION

I carried out a pre purchase inspection on this lovely 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera 4 Cabriolet for a customer that I have known for 45+ years.I advised him that this 993 was in very nice well cared for condition with only a few minor faults & a service due. With only 71,000 miles & an incredible service history my advice to my customer was to purchase the car & spend a small amount of time & money to make this 993 C4 perfect. The car drove perfectly, probably as good as the day it rolled out the factory. 

Due to other financial commitments my customer decided that it wasn't the right time to purchase a classic Porsche so decided to wait a year or 2 so I purchased the car myself to replace the 993 I sold 3 years ago to purchase my industrial unit. 

Since purchasing the 993 I have completed a service, MOT & fixed the minor faults with the car so it is now exactly how you would want a classic 911 to be. The car drives perfectly, having a new clutch & flywheel 5000 miles ago. The manual gearbox feels perfect, the engine sounds great, the underside of the car is very clean with the original factory waxol still doing its job. There is no corrosion anywhere other than very light surface corrosion on the brake backing plates. The bodywork is corrosion free. The interior is very tidy. The canvas roof has been replaced twice in its lifetime with all invoices to show. 

SERVICE HISTORY & DOCUMENTS

Service history doesn’t come better than this. 

There is a folder full of invoices for every service completed since 1996. 

The service book is fully stamped with a 2nd service book now being stamped. 

The original black folder comes with the car which has all the original handbooks inside.

The original bill of sale is also included in the service history. 

Every MOT since new is in the paperwork folder. The online MOT history shows how well this 993 has been cared for throughout its lifetime.
